The World Affairs Council was founded in 1947 out of the interest generated by the founding of the United Nations in San Francisco in 1945. The Goethe Institut is Germany's cultural ambassador across the world. The Center in San Francisco offers language courses including courses tailored to business German and the discussion of current business affairs.
